About TalentClick
Data-Driven Workforce Insights

TalentClick is a global leader in workforce technology, providing data-driven insights to organizations in over 100 countries. We specialize in pre-employment behavioral assessments and employee assessment tools that empower you to hire, train, retain, and develop top-performing teams. Our solutions are built on powerful predictive analytics, providing insight into potential performance and on-the-job behavior of future and current employees.

We believe that understanding people is the key to workplace excellence. Traditional hiring methods like background checks only show you a candidate’s past. Our scientifically validated tools help you see their potential, ensuring you build a happier, safer, and more productive workforce.

Our History

Founded in 2010, and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, TalentClick Workforce Technologies is a global leader in behavioral assessments and predictive analytics. Today, TalentClick operates in over 100 countries and offers assessments in 25+ languages. The organization was co-founded by Greg Ford (CEO), an expert in workplace learning, and Stephen Race (CTO), an occupational psychologist and psychometrics expert.

A key part of our history was disrupting the traditional pricing model of HR tech. We moved away from “pay-per-test” models to unlimited-use subscriptions, encouraging employers to assess everyone from frontline workers to executives at the pre-screening stage before bias can creep in and influence decision making. We developed the Attitude-Values-Personality (AVP) core bundle, allowing companies to “click” different assessment modules together—such as cognitive testing, skills testing, language testing, behavioral-risk assessments, and leadership assessments. Over the years, we added other HR technology tools such as a 360 Degree Review and an Employee Engagement Survey.

We are leaning heavily into how artificial intelligence can help organizations navigate modern challenges like:

  • Volume Hiring: Solving recruitment bottlenecks for high-turnover industries by reducing turnover by 20%.
  • Culture Fit: Measuring “person-organization fit” to reduce turnover costs by up to 60%.
  • Post-Incident Coaching: Using data to retrain teams after safety incidents rather than just assigning blame. Reduce incidents by 20%

01. General TalentClick Questions

Here are our 10 biggest strengths and differentiators:
  1. We have a focus not just on strengths but on Behavioral Risk. We help you reduce or prevent negative outcomes such as absenteeism, employee turnover, theft, fraud, violence, injuries, property damage, and more.
  2. Unlimited-use subscriptions at a super-affordable price, so you can assess all applicants and employees and maximize your return on investment by lowering costs of employee turnover, on-the-job incidents, and more.
  3. Reports are short and written in easy-to-interpret plain language. You do not have to be certified to use our tools!
  4. Reports contain benchmarks and “ideal fit” scores so your recruiters can tell, at a glance, how likely the applicant is to be a high performer.
  5. The Fit Score sorter lets you instantly rank applicants so you can start with candidates who have scores at the top. This saves you a lot of time!
  6. Reports contain behavioral interview questions tailored to each person’s results. This helps with better interviews and reference checks.
  7. Reports contain performance management tips, which leads to better training and coaching of employees.
  8. Analytics functions that let you run reports by location, team, job type, and more. This business intelligence lets you spot performance patterns and gaps so you address organizational change management.
  9. Assessment questions are workplace-related and non-invasive. (ie. Unlike others, we don’t ask about childhood and upbringing, as those types of questions could put you, the employer, in a legally compromised position).
  10. Because we are the test creators and publishers (not resellers of someone else’s products), we can customize our solutions to your needs. All materials can be configured and even co-branded with your organization’s logo, color scheme, and language such as corporate values.

As humans, we all have strengths and weaknesses. We believe that there is no “right” or “wrong” personality, but instead, it’s all about ‘fit’ with the role. When appropriately used, personality is a strong predictor of certain actions and behaviors that lead to organizational success. Our mission is to help companies around the world create happier, safer, and more productive workplaces!
