What measures are in place to prevent participants from using AI to answer assessment questions?

We have several measures in place to prevent participants from using AI to answer questions.

These include:

  • Copy/Paste Prevention – None of the questions or answers in TalentClick assessments can be copy/pasted
  • Timers – Time limits are imposed on all cognitive assessments
  • Randomization – All questions measuring personality are randomized so participants do NOT get the same view
  • One use assessment links – This is an optional (but recommended) feature, so participants can not take time to overanalyze or practice the questions.
  • Data monitoring – We ensure that score distributions remain even across time. If distribution were skewed on a specific product or dimension, it would be noticed
  • Question Rotation (in progress) – Different sets of questions will soon be available

Please note, unless participants are in a proctored environment, we can’t be 100% sure they aren’t using extra tools. If this is important to your organization, we can recommend online proctoring apps that track & record the participant’s behavior while doing the assessment.

We have also found through testing that AI does not give the ‘best’ answers for a specific job and at a specific organization. It has general industry insight but fails to provide insight about the custom benchmark profiles TalentClick builds per organization and per job.
